Brian is coming from Darling Ingredients, where as Sales Manager his main focus was on marketing functional ingredients into the North American petfood market. Brian is specialised in importing EU ingredients into the USA and engaging in research to develop and expand the application of those ingredients. Furthermore, he expanded ingredient sales to North America and Latin America.
More value for the customer
In IQI, Brian has found his perfect match. After 7 years at his previous position he is excited to work for a company with a strong customer first approach. It's a good formula for developing long-term customer relationships.”
What strongly characterises Brian is his passion for travelling. For six years, he travelled the world and his full proficiency in Spanish helped him developed new business in Latin America, by marketing petfood products from Mexico to Chili. His curiosity, open mind and easy approachability naturally align with the entrepreneurial tasks he will perform in his new role as Sales Manager at IQI. Brian: “IQI is developing its business around how the petfood market is evolving, which ensures that its ingredient portfolio and quality program will align to how our customers are developing their business.”
Grabbing market opportunities
Over the years, the market in which IQI operates has seen an increase in regulatory complexity. Where others might see this as an adversity, Brian sees significant opportunities to help simplify the lives of the customers. Brian: “What better way than to bring functional ingredients to market which can promote the health and well-being of pets. IQI is focused on both areas.”
