Mayabb has worked at Royal Canin for 15 years. In his new role, he will act as a “medical liaison” between the company and large veterinary practices around the world.
"There is no one better suited than Dr. Mayabb for this newly created role,” said Kamie Eckert, president of Royal Canin USA. “Brent has been an ambassador for the company externally, and internally he has led change to support the rapid growth of our organization. I am excited to see how he drives our organization forward as he becomes a member of our global Research and Development and Veterinary team."
Throughout his tenure with Royal Canin, Mayabb has led initiatives that drove customization and nutrition-focused solutions for Royal Canin, improved consumer care services, optimized educational programs, and established strong partnerships in the veterinary industry.
"Over the last six years in my current role, I've had the opportunity to collaborate and build relationships with many types of organizations across the US veterinary industry" Mayabb commented. "I'm excited to now work with veterinary businesses across the globe in partnership to improve the lives of cats and dogs."
Mayabb sits on the Banfield Foundation board, volunteers with the Animal Protective Association of Missouri, and provides relief work for small animal practices in Richmond Heights, Missouri.
He earned his bachelor’s in chemistry from Murray State University, followed by his doctorate in veterinary medicine (DVM) from the university of Missouri College of Veterinary medicine. Additionally, he holds a business communication certificate from Washington University in St. Louis
